FAQ
How can I measure my own anthropometry?
Measuring your own body is quite easy. The important thing is to be accurate. First, download the form, which indicates how to take your own measurements. You will be asked to fill out a survey to help us better understand your needs and wants as a cyclist.
If you would like to be sure of the accuracy of your measurements, you can visit a specific fit centre where professionals can help, but our advice is to come to our factory in Tuscany! Here we will take the most accurate body measurements and discuss how you and your next Daccordi will take shape.
Once you will have filled out the form you downloaded, you can send it to us by fax or email. We need this form to better understand what custom fittings need to be made and what is best for you, please contact us at info@daccordcycles.com
But… why should I choose a custom-made bike?
If you consider your body size and your style standard, you can order a bicycle with standard sizes. In our extensive experience (we have been building bicycles for more than 80 years) we have learned that there are no two cyclists that are the same in the world. Comfort, performance and the riding experience, which a bicycle gives to the rider, are always the best when the bike itself is custom made and fit to your body and not the opposite.
Can I choose all the colours?
Custom made means that your bike will be customized with every part, including its colours.
But remember that in every Daccordi there is always a piece of our heart and our passion.
If something would like to be done and we don’t feel that it is suitable for the soul of the frame, compromises must be made.
Can I have a Daccordi without your logo?
It would be like disowning your child.. We can’t. Every Daccordi bicycle will carry its name on the frame.
Can I have a raw frame?
As above, the answer is no. This is a little bit harsh…maybe we should re-word it?
Can I buy the frameset only?
Absolutely. We were born frame builders. Of course we believe that a bicycle is whole; made of the frame, which defines the soul and philosophy of the bike, with its components that give value to it. Therefore, we would like to see the bicycle assembled entirely. One is absolutely free to choose components. If so, we highly recommend following our technical advice for example, like the length of the stem or crank arms.
