Cycling motivation.
Often in the world of cycling, among cyclists, it is usual to comment and express opinions about everyone and everything without restraint and respect. The guy who woke up at 4 am to ride 200 km all at once .. what nonsense! Or the one who rides despite the pouring rain or cold… what a fool! If you sleep in a tent with a sleeping bag or in those who prefer to compete with racing bikes in races or in Granfondo by risking their skin for a racing pack consisting of half a kilo of spaghetti and a tomato box… what a phenomenon! On those who go with an e-bike…Oh, so easy! We want to talk about “heroics” and their historical bikes? … out of mind! I think each of us has its own motivations and I believe that they must be respected. Overcoming your own limit or giving the maximum to achieve a personal goal is the philosophy of any sport and if you think of cycling how not to associate it with fatigue, sweat, cold and sometimes blood? So respect for everyone, their bike trips, because nobody knows what their threshold, limit and how to reach it or even push it further. Anecdotes, I have said a lot of trivia but how difficult they are to put into practice.
Respect for cycling motivation is what I think.
