Today’s latest addition is a steel gravel bike customized for Andrea. The model is the classic Alterego, in colour chosen by Andrea: turquoise with sea blue logos. The geometries and measurements are customized but less visible. What is more visible instead is the name of Andrea’s father painted on the top tube of the frame, and then the dropper post with integrated cable, which required a fair amount of machining effort, given the small diameter of the steel pipes we use to produce.
Andrea preferred the double chainring, so he opted for a Shimano GRX. He then chose Dt Swiss G1800 wheels Vittoria Terrain Dry rubberized pins, in the size that today is the most popular in gravel: 700×40.
The handlebar is the Deda gravel, quite open in the lower part without exaggerating. Spd pedals, in the most classic gravel style, and mixed brakes, mechanical wire with oil pump in the caliper, a solution that requires little maintenance.
The bike is already on the road (and off-road) and rides around Tuscany.
